Platform Architecture
-
Dan Daniels
The platform’s framework was developed under the direction of Dan Daniels, president of Software Builders, Inc. The project began as a desktop client in 1994, followed by a strategic move towards a fully native web application in 2003.
The core architecture is being used by hundreds of institutional investors, including banks, insurance companies, and mutual funds. The framework’s skillful design has enabled it to become a powerful, customizable platform for businesses, schools, and nonprofit organizations.
Development Team
The platform is developed by 25 developers across multiple teams, including a team focused on long-term strategic development. The developers leading the teams average 15 years of industry experience. Each developer receives personal, one-on-one training and mentoring from our senior developers to ensure that our platform reaches our high standards of excellence.
Quality Assurance Team
All changes to the platform undergo a rigorous review process and one-month testing period before they are released to clients. During this month, the 8-person Quality Assurance team performs thorough testing on all development changes to ensure that the platform reaches our high standards of excellence. In addition, the Quality Assurance team oversees a battery of automated tests to catch potential issues as soon as possible.
